    Hi Mincc,

I haven't heard from you in a while and figured it was due to the beginning of the school year. I see you have your hands full.... but just know that all teachers have this... you will turn them around and they will meet your expectations..

When you get a minute email me..:hugs:

i think you should go. As everyone said no matter what, he is your dad. Weddings are really special part of our lives and it's not an ordinary event. You always can have chance to talk about your feelings. Be strong and got to the wedding. Good luck..

I'm glad you went, even if she was horrible about excluding you. Hopefully your dad will notice and finally put a stop to it!
Are you his only child? I can't remember.

    Thanks, Frizz. :hugs:

    Jaime,

I have a brother. He lives out of state, he is 29 and a recovering addict. Yesterday was the best he has looked in YEARS. He has no idea how bad this is, because he is not home much and they actually coddle him as they do my stepsister. He was invited to her baby's christening today, I was not. I think the bottom line is my stepmom knew how close Dad and I were and she set out from the beginning to damage it. She was successful.
Thank you for your good thoughts. I think I am really lucky that my new job is so crazy because otherwise I would be really down now.

Mincc- You're stronger than you know! I don't think I could've made it through the wedding in a cordial way. I'm lucky that although my stepmom has had issues with my relationship with my dad, its never come to this type of situation.

Focus yourself on your kids and your husband and how well your brother is doing (I'm so glad he is doing well...did he go to Clearview too?)...and if you need to talk, you know I'm just a private message away!!! :D

    Jaime,

Unbelievably crazy. It is beyond anything you could possibly imagine.
You have to see it to believe it, really. Take the most badly behaved student you have ever had and multiply it by a million and you may be close. The kids cannot help it-they need meds and the parents refuse and they are just an impossible mix of personalities that should NOT be in the same room. My nephew has ADHD, ODD and possibly some brain damage (his mom wont reveal) and I thought he was a handful. He is an angel compared to these kids.

    Leigh,

Thank you so much. Those PMS go both ways.....Yeah, he graduated in 96. I have to admit I had a couple of moments when I had to bite my tongue. I had hubby on one side gripping my hand and my friend on the other patting my back. It was bad. Especially when my stepsister read her poem.
