My college grad son just announced he is joining the Marines!

Please join me in praying for my college graduate son who just announced he is joining the Marines.

Of all the ways to become a leader and to give service to society (what about: teacher?), he has chosen the Marines.

I understand how you feel. My brother went to Iraq when the war began, but thank God he came back safe and sound.

Thanks for your kind words. My son graduated from Officer Candidate School, and seems to love the Marines. He continues for six more months of training before specializing in something.

 

My son is going to join the pararescue guys in the Air Force. Thanks to your son for his service. I am sure he will do fine. There is an organization for Marine parents. Check it out.
