Your classroom looks great. I would just be very cautious with posting kids pics publicly.

I know I wouldn't do that but those are my own children who were in the classroom helping me....as you can tell from their faces they weren't happy about it!!!

OK, where did you get your...

Clear plastic shelves under the flag?
The math posters with the angles and shapes?
    The clear plastic sorters?
    Black wooden chair?

Love your room. Love the color of your walls. It is very inviting.

The layout of your classroom--window wall, hooks, black (green) boards, etc. looks almost exactly like a room I taught in several years ago. My windows looked out onto a farmer's field where we would see horses daily and deer a few times a year.

Your room looks great, by the way!

Wow - very impressive! I love your organization! The plastic milk crates/storage crates for cubbies is a great idea. I am wondering what you use the plastic file dividers for (under the "cracking the math code" poster) - it looks like they are numbered with small stickers.

Your room is so organized. It looks great! I see a few VP creations!

Your mounted SmartBoard is giving me hope! My Smartboard is supposed to be mounted at the end of this month. Right now it's on a cart and, while I'm not complaining (because I'm so happy to have one), it takes up so much space and the cart with the projector is in the way in my smallish classroom.

The students put their Rock Star Folder's there after they have unpacked them in the morning...they pick them up there with their mail, which is in the clear plastic letter trays next to them and then they stuff their folders to go home. We do this during the last 15 minutes of the day. Also I do Monday Folders (all of their graded work. When they return their Monday Folder's they go there as well. This is an easy way for me to see (at a glance) who has their Rock Star Folder. Also when they bring back their Monday Folder it is easy to see whose is missing. Their Rock Star Folders are yellow and their Monday folders are blue.
