I just finished revamping my class website to get it ready for the new school year and my new class theme.

Anyone who has time and would like: Please check it out and give feedback

Is there anything that should be changed? Should I add anything? Good stuff? Not so great stuff?

    Thanks for you help!!!

    Hi, Teener! :)

Your website looks great! It's very organized and easy to find things. The homework help section will be helpful to parents, and I also really like your emphasis on character traits. I love the wildcat graphic, too! :p There is a typo in "independent" ... otherwise, everything looks awesome! You've inspired me to work on improving my webpage this school year. (Right now mine just says "Under Construction" :( )

It's very organized an inclusive. I think parents will find it very informative and helpful. Do you think your first graders will be accessing the site? If so you might want to include a few 'kid pages'- easy to read pages of school news, links, pics of what's going on in classroom, kids' work. :)

I like many things about your site especially the way
you address parents immediately with helpful information.
It is attractive and easy to navigate.

There are some small things I'd like to mention.
I like to know the name of the town and state of a school
just in case it is in my part of the country. It isn't very
important but I find it interesting. I don't know how
    others feel about it.

I like your list of high frequency words. I have written
four books (excerpts are on my site) with Dolch
sight words. Writing from a list is difficult. I glanced
over your list and have a couple of things to mention.
Should item 30 be "both" instead of "bot?"
"Just" is repeated in items 96 and 97.

You have a site which parents will visit often.

Hi, Loved your website. One question, on your supply list, you have a rain poncho to be kept at home. Should that be school? I think that is a great idea!

"Just" is repeated on the "official" list as well. I simply scanned the list into the computer. I am not sure why it is repeated. However, since it is on the official list, I felt I needed to leave it the same way online so it would look the same to the students.

We want them to keep the poncho at home simply for lack of storage space. The reason we ask for one is that 1st graders are not allowed to use umbrellas for their own (and others around them) safety. We just make sure to stress that the students (or their parents) check the weather before coming to school so they will know if they need to bring it with them.

I like the idea of adding "kid" pages and have thought of adding a page that lists websites with education games as well as homework and other things the students would enjoy. I am glad that the idea seems to be one that others like as well.

Thank you all for your input and comments about my site! It is nice to know that everyone thinks it is so organized and easy to use. I worked very hard on it. I also appreciate the "typo help". I proofread the pages as I finished them, but you always miss a few things that only others can find for you no matter how many times you look over the page. Thanks!!!
