I have put together a slide show to music at Christmas and am going to add the rest of the year soon. I am looking for more songs to use. I have My Wish by Rascall Flatts, You've Got a Friend in Me, Forever Young, and other listed on some old posts. Anything new come to mind?

    Thanks

Oh yeah, "Best of Friends" is fantastic! I like all of those too. I also use-

Thank God for Kids (Oak Ridge Boys, I think?)

Little Bitty Pretty One (The version from the movie "Matilda" I believe)

Let my Love Give you roots, to help you find your wings
(did someone say that, I can't remember the name of it)

I can't think right now of more fun songs. I've been doing scrapbooks for 2 years and stopped doing videos. I need to pull an old one out just for fun. Next year I am going back to videos for everyone, SO MUCH less time consuming and cheaper than the books.

New Beginning by Greg and Steve
Steal My Heart Away by Kenny Loggins

Every year I do a pwoerpoint slide show for kindergarten graduation-- even though I'm not actually working int hat program anymore I still do it for them-- I have parents send in pics of the kids from birth through the present and I ask them to send in at least a dozen of them and especially candid shots--I pull out ones that work well with the song Mr. Mom and that is the first 1/3 of the show. It makes the parents laugh. The next section is a baby pic, a toddler pic, then a drawing i have them do of If I could give one gift to the world I give the world . . . .
and then a now pic. I have differnet famous quotes about
children between each section and after each child's now pic. the last section is a graduation pic I take with their cap and a faux gown followed by a drawing i have them do of 'when I grow up i want to . . " again there is a quote between each child. Liek I said the first section is timed to phrases and lines int he song Mr Mom, the second section is done to either let them be little or steal my heart away depending on how many children there are and how much time i need to get all the pics in, and the last section is done to new beginnning. The final pic is a class pic and then it ends with a quote by dr seuss that says " don't cry becasue it's over, smile because it happened."
