Yesterday I was hired to teach Kindergarten, after staying home for the past 2 years with my boys. I taught 5th grade before that. Anyone else transition to a lower grade? I am overwhelmed at how much stuff you need to teach Kinder!

p.s. To those still looking for a position. My district JUST had 2 teachers leave and school begins in three weeks! They are also still trying to hire for the high school. It's in California, so PM me if you want more info.

    Stef,
You would probably get more response if you ask this question in the gen. ed. section. Kindergarten sounds fun!! I am sure it will be an easy transition once you get those first few weeks of school over. Good luck to you.
