I just got back from NYC, and there were movies on both flights. Of course I picked The Time Traveler's Wife and My Sister's Keeper. Sheesh. Talk about a sob fest.

I still tear up when I see Titanic!!! I agree with you about What Dreams May Come... Loved that movie. It was so interesting to the eye as well!!! It sure does make you think abouthose people you've lost!!! FYI!!! Steel Magnolias was on late last nite!!!
I do not plan on seeing Marley and Me and P.S. I love you because I know that I would be balling like a baby too. Especially with Marley and Me. I have a 10-year dog name Macey (she is my avatar). It would be tough for me to watch Marley and Me because of Macey because I want to be in denial about my dog aging just a little bit longer.:wub: She's my first dog.
I just read through all the movies-Beaches is a sure fire sob fest. I cry at everything as well. My dad was here for a week this summer, and we would go to McDonalds each morning for breakfast. One morning, he started to tell me about some movie on HBO about a boy who has AIDS and his neighbor befriends him and then the boy dies and the friend takes a shoe and floats it down a river in tribute... and he started crying at the table! My dad! It was horrible and hilarious all at the same time. He couldn't get ahold of himself. My bosses also cry all the time. Not so much at movies, but at stories they tell. I've never seen dh cry, though.
I will go you one better. I tear up over a particular Christmas song. Its one of MannHeim Steamroller's. At the end it uses a childs toy piano to play the last refrain from Silent Night and it takes me back to when my older kids were very little and the days of bringing home the tree in my old truck, making cookies, decorating...................hell, Im tearing up now.
I saw one yesterday that made me crey..."the War" I'm on vacation so I lazied around and watched tv for 4 hours! I was supposed to get rid of junk in one the rooms. It didn't happen SO I better get going to it right now.:help: Rebel1
You might be talking about The Cure with Brad Renfro. It makes me cry like a baby every time I watch it.
Has always been in my top five! I cry at several different parts....even when Kevin Costner's character gives the little girl his daughter's cotton candy. Oh, I just love it.

Haha. I start to cry at the beginning of Legends of the Fall, just knowing what is coming up for the brother whose fiance Brad Pitt steals, and for the father who will have a stroke. Anyone remember Love Story? I remember reading it in algebra class hidden behind my text book. The movie killed me.
Oh yeah. I thought she was so adorable. And I remember the knitted hat she had on, even. And Ryan O'Neal was adorable, too. Do you remember the old made-for-tv movie, Sunshine? It featured the John Denver song, Sunshine On My Shoulders.... When I saw Gone With the Wind ages ago, I cried for two weeks.
I first saw Gone wtih the Wind at Radio City, when I was in high school. They got to the intermsission and everyone stood up, and I thought the movie was over. It was 2 minutes before I realized that Margaret Mitchel and David O Selznik hadn't been that cruel.
That would've been. It sure was long, though. I saw Mary Poppins at Radio City for my best friend's 9th birthday. I slipped my shoes off and one slid down several rows. How embarrassing.
i watched the film, sure , it was good. and i liked the family (father, mother, sibling) and was sad when the father got the stroke, even when the wife of the brother was killed but i mean i just cannot cry. no tears!! just sympathizing and awesome feelings!!
Oh, when I see this movie I am in hysterical tears. The song on the radio also gets me. I went into work one day in tears, because it was the last song I heard before getting out of the car.
A Walk to Remember The Notebook (especially the scene where James Garner and the actress playing his wife-- what's her name?-- were dancing; she was having a lucid moment and then, all of a sudden, snapped. It reminded me so much of my grandmother, who also had Alzheimer's.) Marley and Me Up also had me in tears through at least half the movie. SO glad my husband and I didn't see it in the theaters!!
The two that come to mind are Cold Mountain and a heart-wrenching documentary about a mother who had custody of her boy (after losing it) even though it was pretty obvious she had murdered his father. She ended up killing her son by drowning him...all because she didn't want his grandparents gaining custody. I forget the name of it, but I sobbed.
I cry at any movie involving animals and for the most part, I refuse to even watch them. I have NEVER watched Old Yeller because I know what happens and I can't TAKE it!
Marley and Me(for those that don't see there pet as part of the family then you won't understand. I lost a pet we had since birth when I was 12. I was a ball.) Lion King Notebook(I hope I have that kinda Love one day) A walk to remember I can't think of any more at the moment. My girl(when the boy dies) has been said, but ya. When Vada(sp?) the little girl who is his best friend starts talking about wheres his glasses he cant see without his glasses and wanna go rock climbing. Ya I cry.
Oh holy scheisse, I cried at "Snow White and the Three Stooges." I think such movies give us an emotional release we generally suppress in our "real" lives. I cry pretty much equally at the sad AND the awesome stuff. One of my memories of my father is watching the tears on his face during, of all things, Lady and the Tramp. And all of us cry and laugh out loud while reading. "Ah, lass, some of us have tighter puckering strings on our hearts than others." Bonus points for the source. Heck, bonus points if you know what a puckering string is!
Your case is my daughter´s case, too. :unsure: She does not tolerate movies about animals, cause she cries all the film long.
The name of that movie was "Dear Zachary: a letter to a son about his father". THIS IS the most INCREDIBLY moving documentary I have EVER watched. I saw it in a small theater. The place was packed and EVERYONE was sobbing. Including my 19 year old son- who 'is too tough for that sort of stuff". It won a NUMBER of awards... and I think it's tremendous. It is available at Netflix... see this INCREDIBLE film (don't let the tears dissuade you).
We watched "Up" in class the day before break and I had to leave the room because I was crying so much. "Titanic" also kills me and i can't watch any movie about animals where they die. Heck, I was watching "Bad Santa" the other day and was tearing up with the little boy in it.
Okay, just watched "Dear Zachary"...if you have an account with Netflix I can highly recommend it. Forgive me, but it will outright p--s you off. At 1:13...ahh, terrible.
