Has anyone watched this movie yet? "Hes just not that into you?" Did you enjoy it?

I did like it! It was filmed, at least partially, in Baltimore, where my hubby and I grew up, so it was fun to spot local landmarks, but I also liked the storyline.

I had great expectations for this movie; I was so excited to see it and while I did enjoy it, I was a bit disappointed. It was a good movie though with lots of good actors.

I would recommend going to see it!

I was a nice bit of fluff. Funny in some parts. I thought the casting was poor, though.

I liked it a lot, actually, and my husband did too. I am a tough sell on movies and we almost never like the same movie  I enjoyed the fact that there were several overlapping stories so it didn't get boring!

My husband and I both liked it. One of the story lines I wasn't too happy with, but I still liked the movie.

FarFromHome: I am curious, which story line were you not happy with?

Have you seen it? I didn't like what happened with the married man.

I enjoyed the book so much that I purchased it for my daughter. :D I'm sure the movie doesn't compare to the book...how can one make a movie out of this particular book?

I seem to be the exception. I sat through it, thinking the whole time, "Maybe we should just leave." Turns out my husband was thinking the same thing but neither one of said anything and suffered through the whole show. I wasn't the only one that didn't like it though. When we were walking out, we were behind a couple chicks, one of whom said, "Man, that movie SUCKED."

It did pick up a bit at the very end though.

I did see the movie. I was happy with what happened to the married man. He cheated on his wife. He needed to be kicked out. Maybe I don't remember it clearly. hmmmm

I was unhappy about the cheating in general! It makes me sick how often cheating is portrayed in movies. It seems like you can't watch a TV show or movie anymore without seeing someone cheat.

I think because it's the truth. Men do cheat. So do women.

I think the reason they put the cheating in is because its so common, and they wanted all sorts of relationships. I think :)

Yeah, I understand why it was in there. But I've had experience with being cheated on, so I hate watching it.

I really enjoyed the movie. It was hard for me to watch the single girl fall all over herself around guys she liked, b/c I could have been cast for that part! I used to act like that all the time. Not so much anymore. But she (I) seemed so clingy and desperate. Still, I thought the movie was very good overall. I almost cried at the end when...I won't give it away, but it was a nice ending to one of the story lines.

I purchased the book for several female friends and family when it came out. I gave it to my daughter and a lot of her friends too! I think it is a great book for all young women and teenage girls to read. I haven't seen the movie yet, I tend to wait for the DVD.
