Now that we find ourselves participating in distance learning, what are some ways teachers can motivate their students to learn in the virtual classroom?

What are some things you have tried (or plan to try) to keep your kids motivated if you are teaching from home due to COVVID 19 (or for any reason, I suppose).

Please include what grade level you teach with your idea. I am creating a blog post on my website (thescholarssource) to help teachers that are going through the major change of teaching from home due to schools being closed from the Corona Virus.

Try to instil in the children a love of the lesson through games. There are heaps of interactive whiteboards online with drawings and things like that. I think you should look into them as soon as possible. I won't give specific resources. I think google will help you better than mine.
