    Hi!

One of my co-op teachers had challenging word puzzles/printable activities for each month. These were just extra logic thinkers that students could do when they finished their work early. I've started looking for "September" themed activities for 5th grade, but am not coming up with very much. Any resources to share? Web or books?

    Thanks!

My class really likes "Perplexors". Do a few whole class and then they can do it with a partner or on their own. You can order them through Amazon.

I have an edhelper subscription and use the sudoku and other logic puzzles, I have also used the I'm through what can I do books.

They might not be monthly themed but the kids enjoy the challenge.

I've used Mrs. Renz's (fourth grade teacher) Brain Busters for math before, but weekly. http://www.mrsrenz.net
