    Hi all

I was invited to create a lesson for interview #2 for a 7th and 8th math/science Montessori class. It's a very small class - I have no experience with this method (though I've read up on it) and no experience aside from subbing (I graduated a few years ago with no luck for a FT position). I was just wondering if anyone had any tips or advice? Thanks in advance.:help:

I think at that level, the same principals that apply to conventional Ed would apply to Montessori. Hands-on, inquiry-based science that allows the students to construct their own knowledge and draw conclusions from their work. I think a good, solid lesson that shows you are child-centered yet have high expectations is the key. Disclaimer: I'm not a Montessori teacher!
