misjudged a certain parent

Sitting in the abusive dad's car, being taken for dinner, watching videos on the dad's phone (seriously? No one touches my phone...) telling her all of this is basically a secret between them....all of this after a comment about having a d1ck in her mouth. This jerk is getting off on a power trip.

 

The dad is on a disgusting power trip that borders on this. Overly familiar. Comments about a male part in your mouth. Telling you to keep it a secret. Yeah that.

 

If this is the case wouldn't this be a live and let live situation? I needed a favor, he was willing to provide said favor. He got to have whatever satisfaction he had (this was a completely non sexual situation ) and I got my problem solved. Who really was harmed ?

 

To be fair to him, he said that in the parent teacher conference in front of his wife and the counselor. In my last exchange with him he mocked me a bit and played a little dumb concerning the unlocking but asides from that he acted like almost any other Texas boy helping a woman with her car.

 

Sounds like it's good with you ladybug and you are willing to forgive and forget and move on. Your choice. I hope that continues to work out for you.

I am extremely pragmatic. Am I appreciative for the assist? You bet I am, do I think his humor is super appropriate? Definitely not.
Also weighing my options I really thought the benefits of his assistance or weighed any drawbacks. Before I got into his car I told him I was going to call a girlfriend so she would know where I was going. He said he would do me one better and let me FaceTime my girlfriend on his phone so in his words "if for whatever reason I bury you in the desert your friend would invite exactly who to look for and what phone to track". He even said hi to her and read us both his Texas PE number. So I figured he probably wasn't an ax murderer or psycho rapist.
We talked a bit as we drove and he seemed fun and engaging for the most part unless the subject of school or academics came up. Whenever I mentioned school or teaching or wanted to talk about his son's school work he would become mocking and derisive. I think he has some weird aversion to public education and or the government in general. Which honestly would explain a lot.

 

I had a thought that occurred to me. I think he could possibly be one of those anti-government people. From a few of the parents who know him they all say he is rather pleasent, a bit childish but friendly over all. And through most of the evening he was pretty pleasent towards me unless I wanted to talk about school. He seemed to have a lot of negative options concerning local law enforcement, the Obamas, his old high school (coincidentally the one which my middle school feeds), and UT. I am wondering if his rudeness towards myself, the counselor and the school resource officer was directed not at us as individuals but rather as us as whom he precives to be representatives of the government.

 

Telling admin what happened isn't what could get you fired in this instance. I hope it all turns out well.

 

I am just going to keep my mouth shut. If administration finds out and fusses I will go to the union. Administration can't tell me what I can or can not do on my own time.

 

Ok great move then. I'm closing this thread.
