Anyone have midwinter break this coming week? What will you be doing on your time off?

    We're not that fortunate here.

Never have them here. No breaks between MLK day and first week of April (spring break) here. Starting next year spring break is only two days.

Presidents' Day. No real time off for me though since I don't teach Mondays or Fridays. Actually, I had to work Friday for virtual conferences. I got more work instead of a day off.
I miss having Pulaski Day off. No one here has even heard of Pulaski Day.

I have off tomorrow for President's Day.
It's nice to have a 3 day weekend but I wouldn't really call this a midwinter break;)
I'm going to sleep in and just take it easy tomorrow.

My first district had "midwinter break" this week. I'd never heard of it before then, and am pretty sure no districts in my current area do it either. The teachers actually complained about it. They thought there wasn't enough time to get through their material, having another week long break.

We normally only get today, but I lucked into a 5 day weekend. Thursday was a teacher work day, and since it was snowy, they told us we could work from home if we wanted (other districts got delays, but no actual snow days). Friday was a "staff mental health day/teacher appreciation day" that the board added after a few nearby districts did one last semester. And then of course we get today. It's been really nice to have this little break- especially one that isn't connected to holidays and super busy with travelling/family responsibilities, etc.

We got a couple unofficial midwinter breaks -- two snow days the week before last with a 4 day weekend, and another two snow days last week which led to a 6 day weekend because of President's Day and a PD day. Tomorrow is gonna be nuts with so many days off plus the county ending our elementary mask mandate, so that'll be fun.

I was off for a whole week and it was glorious although we had some bad weather. I just stayed home until the roads were clear. Our spring break isn't until April so it was nice to have some time off.
