What's The Most Memorable Lesson You Learned From Your Parents?
Never smoke that first cigarette and never drink and drive. Both of those things can kill you. It is the same lesson that I taught our son, and he doesn't smoke or drink if he has to drive. I still fund an Uber account for him, which started when he was in college, because I never want him to feel obligated to drive if impaired whether by drink or just too sleepy to be behind the wheel. My parents version of the same was "no matter where you are or the time of day, if you need a ride, we will provide it." I guess some apples don't fall far from the tree.
Picking 1 is hard but "travel lightly" was 1 of the best lessons. If you don't get bogged down with materialistic stuff, it is much easier to leave if you want to move somewhere.

You are making a difference. You're a great example to others.
Worth is not determined by the amount of money you have, the job you do, or the status you have in society. Everyone has worth and each person adds something significant to society even if it is not immediately evident. Small, unseen things can cause the most significant ripple.
