It was almost 50 here! I took the dog for a walk as soon as I got home. My feet came back went, but it was beautiful! We don't have a large paved area for the kids to play, so I don't know when they will get out.

It was 55 here today. I'm seeing grass for the first time since December!

We have a ways to go before there's any grass to be seen, but I loved seeing some of the kids outside in t-shirts at lunch recess today!

Ours is melting quickly and we don't have much pavement to play on. So they came in SOAKED from recess... smelled really 'damp' in my classroom all afternoon. But it's so uplifting to see spring on the way, I don't mind. My car, on the other hand, is just disgusting but I can't bring myself to wash it quite yet. Maybe on the weekend.

There's a lot of mud! Still tons of snow but I do see grass. Today was sunny and almost 50 with even better temps for the rest of the week!

The kids were outside (on the blacktop) at recess today! Woo boo! And it was still a bit light out when I finished tutoring at 7! Yippee! :celebrate:

One of our friends phoned from Chicago last week to tell us that there was still snow on the ground, she attached a couple of photos taken of Grant park taken from her apoartment to back this up. However I called another friend last night (it was his birthday and he told me that they were having a mini heat wave 10 degrees (50 degrees in your money) and everything was melting. Hopefully by the time we get there on the 28th March things should be a bit warmer.

Going to be upper 40s all week. Glad it's melting at an even rate instead of hot & then cold again. We have a lot to go as well, but first time I've seen driveway without snow since January! Lol

It's been melting here for a few days. Today it's raining, so it's virtually all gone. We have warmer temps (50s) all week, but rain every day as well. Unfortunately, that means that the playground will be awfully muddy, and we'll be lucky to get outside at all this week or next!

I love the muddles. It means this terrible, awful snow is going away. Woo hoo! We still have a loooonnnnggg way to go before all the snow is gone, but things are headed in the right direction. :D
