I currently am PA certified to PA to teach elementary education. I have not found a job yet. I just graduated in May. I want to to get a PA math certification. Some people tell me you just have to take another praxis test to get it. Does anyone from PA know if that is true? I've also heard that you have to teacher 3 years at the elementary level and then take the test. Any information or advice would be appreciated! Even if your not from PA, i'd be interested in knowing how it works in your state. I am guessing they are not all the same. Thanks!

Thanks for posting, smilesjd: the world could use more good math teachers. This forum is actually for tests like PPST or CBEST - basic skills. You may get more useful feedback if you re-launch your thread on the Single Subject Tests forum (which, believe it or not, is NOT just for California tests).

Thanks! I wasn't quite sure where to put it. I will repost it.
