I'm having a baby this summer and will not be at school for about 3 weeks after the beginning of the year. Any suggestions about sub. plans, getting students into a routine w/out me there, etc?
I'm stressed that when I get back it's going to be chaos.

Been there done that sorta deal...
I actually had to leave on maternity leave after Thanksgiving and didn't return until early this year. So all I can say is after getting my routine down... it was flipped upside down!!! I would ask your principal, but you may have to do the first week's lesson plans and then an outline of what you want done, but I think the sub has to do all the planning. At least that was the case with me.

DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT!!! Everything will fall into place... LOVE EVERY MINUTE WITH THAT BABY!!!!
