What area are your Master's Degrees in? I'm debating between an MAT and MSE-Curriculum and Instruction. I was thinking that the MSE might look better on a resume with all the high stakes testing we deal with, but I could be way off base there. I've really been dragging my feet about going back to school, so any advice on the topic might help motivate me to get moving! Thanks!

I want to begin a Reading Education masters program. I think I could get a job back in MI with it... I am already certified elem ed, early childhood ed, math and social studies. A masters in reading SHOULD be enough!

I have not began because they offer NO on-line classes at UNCC. And, it is about 45 minutes each way in awful traffic, so I do not want to drive there regularly!

I'm getting my Master's Degree in Reading through a local university. They offer classes at local high schools, online, and at their main campus. I have been so pleased with them! :)

Mine is in Elementary Education but eventually I intend to go for my 6th year in Reading, most likely. I'm going to try to get through my first year of teaching, though, before I do that... :)

Lots of people with their Master's in reading... interesting. I think I'm going to suck it up and make an appt with an advisor at a college that does extension classes in my town. They offer lots of online classes in CIA, so I think it will work well with my schedule.

If only I could figure out how to pay for it. :(
