If you have a Mardel's in your state, their annual teacher sale will be this Thursday, July 17th. The OKC ones open at 8am and close at 10pm.

In previous years, I've found some great bargins. (I've also won some door prizes!) I buy my stickers, and note pads that day (usually at least 20% off). I also buy a few things on my "wish list" that I want to add each year. (Last year I added Nursery Rhyme BB/poster things. Year b4 I added bear counters and pattern cards.) I don't know what I want to add this year. Hummmm what would you buy? (remember... money out of your own pocket.)

I'll visit Lakeshore in a couple of weeks...

If you are close to Norman, usually Copelin's is the same night.

I may try to check it out. For only 20%, I don't know if I want to fight the crowd.

Good, excellent. But what ARE these stores? I am lost. :) Obviously, Florida doesn't have either of these stores.

Mardel's started out as a Christian book and materials store and then branched out to supply educational materials. It started out as a small portion of the store and became so popular with teachers and homeschools that it is now a BIG part of their store. So far they are only in 6 states (surrounding OK) They are part of Hobby Lobby crafts store and is the only store I know of that closes on Sunday so their employees can go to church and spend family time together. It reminds me of when I was a kid. I SO respect this but it's not the only reason I shop there. Here is a link... http://www.mardel.com/store/main.aspx?DepartmentId=2708

(no, this was not a paid announcement... I just like them.)

Way off the topic, but Chick-fil-A is also closed on Sunday.

Here is the link to the store: http://www.mardel.com/. No details on what they will be giving away though. The sale is good for on-line purchases as well.

The magazine bins look so pretty! In so many colors. So the sale will be online also? Good as I don't have one here. :)
