March Madness, most wonderful time of the year!

Who else is following the games closely? I am glued to the TV right now and loving it! I don't have school tomorrow, so I'll be able to watch all weekend! Who are you rooting for? Who are your teams?

 

My boys play tomorrow night. North Carolina won today , but that was to be expected. I will be glued to a tv somewhere tomorrow (I don't have cable, satalite or a working antene at my house).

 

Oh, I forgot to mention...Wake Forest...GO DEMON DEACONS!!!!!

 

A&M actually beat BYU today!

 

Go Deacons! All of my teams have won so far. The Illini are having a bad time of it though.

 

March Madness? I'm sorry, I was too busy following baseball spring training and NFL free agency and draft preparation to notice.

Me too! I am following BASEBALL SPRING TRAINING. Those who like Baseball claim that it is America's favorite pastime.

My bracket is looking pretty good right now. No major upsets though. My final 4 are kansas, conn, xavier, and oklahoma. I have Kansas winning it all.

 

I don't recognize any of the teams. Is it baseball or basketball?

 

I'm loving it! I'm tied for 3rd in my pool. My final four are: Memphis, Louisville, Pitt, North Carolina...with Memphis winning it all. I'm looking good so far.

 

15 seed Cal State Northridge certainly did an excellent job of hanging with 2 seed Memphis yesterday...

 

They did...but we'll turn it on for the rest of the tournament! I have faith!!!

 

The University of Texas beat Minnesota last night. Up next is Duke. Most likely the 'Horns will be going home to Austin after that.

KU plays today while i'm at work!!!!! I'm so upset!!! Good thing my friend is going to be texting me updates!! RAWR!

 

Major, that's what I was saying yesterday about the Aggies. They beat BYU, and they play UConn up next. I don't see them beating them.

 

Go Purdue! My Boilermakers survived a Northern Iowa late run and will play on Saturday! Yeah!!!!! Games start in 40 minutes or so and I am excited. I'm 4th in the family pool tied with my MIL. But beating my husband. Life is good.

 

Your Aggies and my Longhorns most likely will be heading home after the next game...

 

I don't see them going to the final four, that's for sure!

I was just offered tickets to tonights Wake Forest game and I CANT GO!!!!!!! I'm so mad

 

I love college basketball and have Louisville, Memphis, Villanova and UNC in my final four, but would happily lose the pool if Syracuse were to take it all (so disappointed that I was at work while their game was on today).

 

I am so jealous! My brackets are looking pretty good so far. I have only lost four of my teams! My final four are Louisville vs. UCONN and Duke vs. Gonzaga with Louisville vs. Duke in the finals and Louisville taking it all. I'd love it if Duke won, but I just don't see it happening. I REALLY want a Coach K/Pitino rematch!

 

My game starts in 40 minutes. I'm a wake fan, but I just don't see them making it even into the sweet 16.

And don't be jealous...I had to decline the ticket .

I'm a huuuuuuge baseball girl, so March Madness doesn't really do it for me. I'm much more into following spring training right now.

BUT, I am a big sports fan in general, I love hockey and I follow football. So I decided to do brackets at school, going on sheer instinct and seeding numbers... and I'm doing pretty well! I'm a lot more interested in it now, which was my ultimate goal. I have Louisville, Connecticut, Duke and UNC in the final four, UNC taking it all. We will see!

 

I don't like UNC an Duke on general principle....

I've only been wrong about 1 game so far!!!
This is the first year I've ever done a bracket. It would be awesome to win

 

Unless something happens soon, I'm out in the first round. I've been right so far, but I could be out in about an hour

 

I just checked the scores...I did pick Wake Forest to go to the next round...I could be in trouble.

 

Wake's a good team. They've grown up quite a bit this year, but WHAT happened to cleaveland. They were serious underdogs here.

 

I'm out. 1:27 left and a 16 point deficit. It's not gonna happen this year .

 

Three of my teams lost last night! ARRGGHH! But those two OT games were so exciting! I have bald patches on my head! :lol:

 

I HAVE to ask because I really do know nothing about college basketball...why not?

 

Because they're NC teams, and I'm a Wake Forest fan. It's much the same reason why I don't like UF or FSU...because I'm a U of Miami fan. This, of course, is a problem in basketball now that UM is in the ACC. I'm torn during UM/Wake games.
