Well i'm going to a Mamma Mia, the Movie Promotion in Studio City, CA on Saturday night which is celebrating 35 years of ABBA and their success with Mamma Mia, the musical. They are giving away all kinds of Mamma Mia, the Movie goodies too. This is an invitation to all Southern California die hard fans of the movie. If you want to know which dance club is sponsoring the event, don't hestitate to give me a prvt message. I heard that they are giving away 100 Mamma Mia, the Movie T-shirts to the first 100 club attendees. Get out your platform boots, your polyester pants, and put on some ABBA tunes and get ready to become your inner "Dancing Queen" for the evening. By day i'm a mild-mannered special education teacher who is gentle and caring. At night, I become a dancing fool. I hope others want to see this event as well. Aspieteacher
I have seen the play twice and I'm going to see it again in August. I can't wait to see if the movie is as good as the play. I LOVE ABBA!!! :2up:
I went to the promotion at my dance club on Saturday night! The promotion was kind of cute. They had all kinds of Mamma Mia stuff they were giving away and they gave us free T-shirts from the movie too. I wanted to take one of the small beach balls, but I changed my mind instead. I am going to wear my red ABBA shirt with all of the pictures of Annifrid (Frida) Benny Bjorn Agnetha to the U.S. premiere on Friday the 18th. I'm looking forward to seeing the movie because I didn't even think it has gotten as much attention as it truly deserves. I always ask people if their success is totally about money only, why has ABBA decided to take a break for at least 25 years since they broke up? I've always wondered what others would think as well?
