Is it safe to make these for families????????????? I have always loved taking pics of my students working (special occasions and just pics of them working in class). I put all these pics together and make a movie from them. I love doing this (free of charge) for parents as an end-of-year gift. And, my parents have ALWAYS loved this. Obviously, I always get signed permission slips from parents to allow their child to be on the DVD. My problem....... my bestfriend (also a teacher who has taught about 15 years) used to do this but won't do it anymore. She is VERY concerned about problems arising. I never fully understood what her problem with it was as long as she gets a signed permission form. Well, we were talking the other day and we got indepth with this conversation. She explained to me why she is so scared of doing the DVDs anymore. She said apparently people could get their hands on the DVDs and photoshop them into being VERY inappropriate. The way she explained it to me scared the living..........out of me. It's not anything I would think of so I never thought of these DVD's as being potentially harmful...... I'm just wondering, am I really taking a risk by doing the DVD's??? Do you guys make them????? Why or why not?????
