I wear mascara when I remember to.

I would love to wear more makeup - I think it really pulls everything together, but I have no idea where to start!

Ooo! That's not good. I used the botanicals collection. It works wonders to my skin.

Have fun looking through the above site. There are various video tutorials that are interesting & fun to watch! As much as I know about makeup, I like watching them to get more ideas & learn about new brands.

I use a little powder, eye shadow and mascara. I will wear tinted Burts Bees stuff on my lips when I think of it.

During the school year, I will wear foundation, blush and mascara.

During the summer - nothing, unless there is an event I need to attend (wedding, etc.)

I have really sensitive skin and tend to break out with any new routine, especially cleansers. It's also combination skin in the worst way - oil slicks AND flaky dry patches galore. This winter, however, my sister turned me on to the oil cleansing method. I tried it and I haven't looked back. It cleared my acne, cleaned up the oil slicks AND moisturized the dry patches. I don't need to use moisturizer anymore. So, the product I LOVE and can't live without (even though it's not makeup) is plain oil extra virgin olive oil with a splash of castor oil.

ooh this is fun! teaching and makeup/clothes are my two favorite subjects so I'm so happy to combine the two! Despite my love for makeup, I stay pretty natural because I'm good at applying natural makeup. When I try to wear heavy eye makeup or something I wind up looking messy. This summer I've had a very hands off approach but usually for work its tinted moisturizer, light bronzer, blush, a bronze eyeshadow as my eyeliner and mascara. Oh and lip balm! I swear by EOS, its all natural and lasts forever!

Hi, I have the oil and dry, flaky skin patches too. Mine was diagnosed as Seborrheic dermatitis.

Loose powder around my eyes, liquid black eyeliner in a cat eye, mascara and L'oreal Colorstay lipstick in Ever Red-dy. That stuff absolutely does not move all day, even with drinking coffee.

I wear makeup for work and occasions out.

    Let's see, I wear:
    Primer
    Eyelid primer
    Concealer
    Eyeshadow
    Eyeliner
    Brow powder
    Blush
    Powder
    Lipgloss

Everything is Benefit except eyeshadow and liner. I'm currently wearing Stila and Urban Decay for the eyes.

ETA: And good old Ponds Cold Cream to take everything off!

Recently tried this. It's sooo nice, perfect amount of coverage. I've been wearing it all day and NO OIL! I have combo skin, so I like how it keeps me moisturized where I need it while still combating oil. LOVE!

Also ordered this and these. We'll see how those work when I get them on Wednesday!

I received a Beauty Blender in one of those monthly subscription boxes a while back, and it's great. It prefer to apply foundation with my fingers so I wouldn't repurchase at this point, but I haven't found a budget version that's comparable to the original after trying a couple.

Yay! I'm looking for a way to make my under eye concealer look more natural, and I've heard good things about the Beauty Blender. I've heard that the knockoffs are terrible in comparison to the original.

I don't wear foundation. I usually wear eyeliner and some lipgloss to school.

My son once said "Mom, you have two faces."
What he meant was a face with make up and one without :woot:

    During school:
    foundation
    powder
    blush
    eye liner top
    mascara
    lip stick

    Fancy the above plus
    eye shadow
    eye brow color
    lip liner
    eye liner the bottom

    Summer:
    foundation with sunscreen
that's it unless we meet up with someone and then I will add mascara to my blonde lashes

I want to add a new cosmetic product to my makeup regime: Contouring powder.

Contouring powder is powder you place on certain partsof your face to highlight, slim, etc.

I've tried contouring with NYX Taupe blush (I'm very pale, nice NC15 in MAC) but I didn't think it did much for me. I could notice that I looked more chiseled, but it wasn't as dramatic as I would have hoped. Now I use Too Faced Chocolate Soleil bronzer as a light contour/shadow on the sides of my face. It's less work as actually contouring and gives the same effect.

I do highlight though. I use Shroom by MAC on my browbone, cupid's bow, down the center of my nose, and across my cheekbones.

I've been watching more makeup application tutorials lately...somthing I like to do in my free time.

This morning, I spent a nice long time browsing Sephora & got:

    Murad Mattifier
    Glilttery eyeliner & mascara
    Smashbox loose setting powder
Eyelashes - don't wear them much, but want to more often

I also went to the MAC store & got a contouring blush.

Can't wait to do my makeup for work w/ my new products! :D

I always wear a moisturizer with sunscreen, foundation, mascara and a quick high light of eye shadow. This is the general look. I do more for going out and special occasions. Takes me 5 minutes tops for this routine.

Oooh I love this thread! :)

On a normal day I wear:
    Primer.
    Eyelid primer.
    Concealer.
    Foundation.
    Eyeshadow(s).
    Eyebrow powder.
    Eyeliner.
    Mascara.
    Setting powder.
    Blush.
    Lipstick.
    Lipgloss.

My favorite brands are YSL (super pricey, but worth it), Revlon (lippies), and MAC (especially their eyeshadows). :)
