Does anyone still use these? I am moving and can't believe how much I spent on these magazines/books my first few years of teaching, tried to sell on Craigslist and local Facebook pages. No hits. So I guess I'm just wondering if anyone out there still uses them? I'm thinking about donating them to a local daycare or Head Start etc, but a ton of places say NAEYC accredited, and maybe they don't use this stuff anymore either.
Yes! One of my coworkers had some from the late 90s/early 00s and I still looked through them and used some ideas/activities that were in there as extra stuff (bulletin board, enrichment art, etc.) since we already had a set curriculum. Love Mailbox!
I never purchased any, but I have several. Of the four schools I've worked for, three of them had a subscription for the library. One of my schools would give them away once they were a few years old, so if it had a topic in it that I taught, I snatched them up. Great review for days they have a sub or stretching things before a break
I like to look through them and have a ton myself ` but I like using their templates for newsletters, calendars, etc.
