I'm a substitute teacher in the process of getting certified. I would like to get my master's in preschool education (my B.S. is not in education). If I teach any other grade besides preschool, will I still get paid a master's salary with Miami Dade County Public Schools? Please let me know. Thanks.

From the school districts web sites in my area they list that those with Master's Degree will be paid X amount more than the listed amount on the step pay scales. That amount generally ranged from $1,000 to $2,000 more. Some of them had a different step scale all together for Masters and PhD.
