Huzzah, MS!! I was gone for three days, and had to look up your user name and see if you posted any news!! HOOOOOOORAY!!
Hip Hip Hooray!!!!!
I'm so happy for you! This job sounds like it will be worth all of the effort and waiting. Congratulations...and, congrats to the school for finding such a great teacher!
I ALWAYS say that good things happen to good people. It was your turn to shine and finally get the BREAK you deserve!
Congratulations!! Woot woot!!!
I am in shock....
So, after a sleepless night of bring told the Ga PSC was now going to refuse to allow me to convert my certificate at the school I took the offer from (long story...which makes no sense and isn't worth telling).....
I got a phone call from the facilitator this morning and the Ga PSC has made a concession on it and is going to allow me to convert under the mentor program after all! They said due to the way things are with people trying to get jobs, and my facilitator really doing a GREAT job of convincing them, they would allow it! YEA!!!!! That is a relief since I had already decided no matter what that I would honor my word to this school and keep the job no matter what.
So, talked to my principal and he is on board with it and is looking forward to signing my paperwork for me next week! :thumb:
I am very confused... I just asked the question on a different post. Did you take the private school job or is this the public school job? I am just a little confused.
FAB-U-LOUS!!! It's a week of great twists!! Little things like that restore my faith in humanity-it's been tested a lot lately, but the world is earning it back, bit by bit!
The facilitator really worked hard to get Ga PSC to work with us on this. She also charged me the lowest fee for the mentorship. It's still very expensive, $3K, but hey....better than $3750 that I was expecting.
