I am between student teaching semesters right now. I am mostly interested in Preschool-1st grade, and Special Education. My current student teaching placement is in kindergarten, and then I will be going to a self-contained, lower-elementary class. Thanks!
I don't follow any blogs necessarily but if you start browsing pinterest I'm sure you'll stumble upon some good ones. Start looking at education related pins and when you see a good one, see if the link is from a blog. Also, when you see good ones, look into who posted the pin and see if they post other worthy pins and follow that person. I love pinterest
I can't help for your specific demographic, but for education issues in general, I always recommend Diane Ravitch's blog: http://dianeravitch.net/ or Mark Naison's blog at http://withabrooklynaccent.blogspot.com/
Here are some that I've found in the past: For preschool: http://www.teachpreschool.org/ http://www.pre-kpages.com/ http://www.whatdowedoallday.com/ For primary grades or teaching in general: http://whattheteacherwants.blogspot.com/ http://www.notimeforflashcards.com/ http://www.readingconfetti.com/ http://tinkerlab.com/ Now that I look at these most are geared toward creative and experiential learning projects, since that's what I like reading about. I look forward to seeing which blogs others suggest.
Here are a couple that I like which are geared towards the younger grades http://sssteaching.blogspot.com/ http://tunstalltimes.blogspot.com/
I really enjoy Ravitch's blog. I ask my student teachers to read this blog about teaching techniques.
