Looking for short phrases for memory work

    In trying to satisfy the need to challenge the better students I have decided to give each of my classes a famous phrase to memorize. I can make some up for grade 3, the youngest, but it would be more meaningful if I could say, for example, that this was said by Benjamin Franklin, or Confucius, etc Can anyone think of some short phrases, no more than 4 to 5 words, that were spoken by a famous person? Google is no help here for the word limit.

    There's plenty more quotes here but you'll be pretty limited by the 4-5 word limit. Can you expand the word limit at all?

    That Benjamin Franklin one was the smallest I could find and it's still 6 words.
