Hi! This is my first post here, and I'm looking for a bit of advice!

There is a last minute position for a kindergarten teacher at a school in my area. The position is open for applications for less than 24 hours. You apply through Applitrack, but the principal has also included their contact information for people seeking more info on the position.

Would it be inappropriate to send an email to her with a copy of my cover letter and resume or a small note about my interest in the position as well as a little summary about my qualifications?

I just need some quick advice on what to do because this position is absolutely perfect and I don't want to mess it up by missteping at the beginning of it.

    :thanks:

    I'd email. AND apply online.

    Complete Applitrack first!

Then send an email to the principal.

    Thanks for the quick advice!

I applied online so that step if finished!

Would you suggest cover letter and resume to the principal or just a quick blurb about my interest and qualifications?

Cover letter and resume in one combined pdf file, then a short blurb in the body of the email works best for me.

Yes I'd do both! It wouldn't hurt if you're not harassing :)

Thank you so much for the quick advice, everyone! I've sent my email and now it's just a process of waiting to see if I get a call or email tomorrow or Thursday.
