If you leave before the year is out, will you be in breech of contract?

Do you have to provide a certain number of days notice? In my district, we give 60 days notice.

A resignation letter needs very little detail other than to state you are leaving and will no longer serve in the capacity of "x" for school/school district "x". You don't necessarily even need a reason.

You might want to leave out the personal details about moving with your fiancé...simply stating that you are relocating is more than enough.
