Has anyone ever used one or can anyone recommend one?

I love love love bright colored lipsticks and I definitely plan on wearing some for my wedding. I just don't want my boyfriend to wear it too!

So I read about lipstick sealer. Does anyone have any experiences with it?

Also, it will be important to have an SPF of some sort. I could always just put sunscreen or chapstick over the stuff, but as long as it works with it that's fine. We'll be skiing all day and I don't want to get burned!:thumb::thanks:

I just wear the long lasting lipsticks. Most come with a gloss for added shine and moisture.

But do they actually work? Which brands would you recommend?

I really like lip stains. I usually wear a lip gloss over it.

They are anything-proof. I have to take mine off at night.

Thanks so much guys! I'm going to WalMart in the next hour and I hope to be able to find some of this stuff to try out. ;)

Luckily I'm going home for a few days in December and should be able to pick up some stuff if I can't find it here.

I heard Mac cosmetics has a great long lasting lipstick. I work with someone who says that she puts it on in the morning and it stays on all day.

Mac is expensive in the USA and here it's twice as much. So I'll look at it when I'm back in the USA. ;)

I bought a Revlon ''Just Bitten Kissable'' which I really like, but I don't know that it's a stain. It said ''lip stain balm'' on it. But it's definitely more like a balm than a stain. I didn't know how to ask for ''lip stain'' in Spanish and of course my novio was no help. I asked for long lasting lipstick but she just showed me what I was already looking at. *shrug*

    I'll keep looking around!

I've gotten a good 12 hours from the Covergirl Outlast. The ony problem is that when I used it every day, my lips got way, way too dry. I still use it as a special occasion lip color.

I looked for that today in Walmart and didn't see any. I'll make sure to check for it in the USA! Thanks!

I use Revlon longwear "lipstick". I put it on at 5:45 AM and have to remove it at night (around 9:30) with make-up remover - it lasts all day long!! In my opinion, it doesn't dry out your lips and feels natural. I never use the gloss because to me, it seems to shorten the length of wear time. I've tried Covergirl and Maybelline long wear "lipsticks" also, but Revlon is far superior to them in regards to how they feel and how long they last.

I've heard and read lots of good things about Revlon. I didn't see the long lasting lipstick at walmart, so I'll check some other places. Thanks!

It isn't a "lipstick", it comes in a clear/Translucent box that is about 5 inches high, 1.5 inches wide, and 1/2 inch deep. It is called Revlon Color Stay Overyime. Everlasting Rum is an awesome darker neutral that goes well with any skin tone and any color that you're wearing.

Oh cool! I did see that at the walmart! I'll have to go back and get some. I thought it was a lip gloss so I passed.

    :thumb::thanks:
