Hey all. I'm working on my links' page for my class website and I'm looking for a few more "fun" websites to add that are appropriate for 3rd graders. I already have my "Parent Resources" and "Student Resources" sections completed. My last section is called "Just for Fun" and so far I have, FunBrain, NatGeo Kids and Dance Mat Typing. I use to have Starfall and PBS kids but I'm looking for sites that are geared toward kids who are a little older. Please share
www.arcademics.com My students were obsessed with that website all year and they got very good at math facts.
Here's a link to my kids' page with Just For Fun sites. I teach second grade, so just look through and see what you can use. Several of these sites are really cool and my daughter (who is going into 4th grade) still likes them. http://marthagrade2.webs.com/kids.htm
Ooh I love arcademics. Great for facts practice. @queenie: Thank you for sharing your links! I've only got up to the g's =) I really like the Chevron one so far. Also, I love how you added your favorites under the meet the teacher section. Totally stealing that idea :thumb:
This is so cool. If you are in a lab situation, every kid can join the same race and compete against each other!
I have four pages of links on my website organized by subject. Take what ever you can use! Obviously Wise Learners
