Currently in my 6th year as a reading specialist in the same district. The district, once again, is without a Literacy Specialist Supervisor. I am not sure why they keep losing folks out of this position. The admins at the schools are trying to "make the best of it".
I would like to investigate becoming a library and media specialist. Since I have already taken many of the courses as a reading specialist (more than 24 credits in the required courses) it looks like I might be able to just apply for the endorsement?
Anyone move from a reading specialist position to a library media specialist?
