My principal sent a note home and will be sending another one regarding my maternity leave when the date gets closer. I was thinking that I should send one as well, but I am not sure what to say. My length of leave is up in the air right now...so I don't want to committ in either direction at this point......
What kind of notes have any of you sent home?? :thanks:

teaching-n-2, just had a baby last month. Why don't you send her a PM?

I've never been pregnant, but I would just keep it short. Remind them of the date and expectations (behavior/academic). Congrats and good luck!

I went on maternity leave in march last year, 4 weeks earlier than I had intended.. I just told the parents in person and let the principal send home the letter the week before I left.
