Would you keep going on interviews if you signed a letter of intent with a school?
I've heard stories where schools ended up not abiding to them so I'm paranoid. Lol
(I signed one at an on the spot interview at a job fair yesterday)

I know someone that was put through training and everything just short of going into the classroom and the. School board backed out and claimed something about the position being cut. Well, teacher took them to court and the SB had to pay damages.

You should be fine unless something crazy happens. You should be getting info and stuff to sign within the next week I would bet.

    Congrats!!

That sounds good to me if you did it on the interview.

My paranoia is starting to kick in.
I know the Superintendent starting calling my references on monday, but she hasn't called me in to sign the contract yet.
I emailed her a few hours ago saying I was just touching base and for her to let me know if she needs anything else from me.

I feel like I might have wasted 2 weeks not searching for a job and the main hiring wave is finished.

That is a tricky one because based on my past experiences I would be inclined to keep interviewing, but I would NOT be comfortable accepting a different job if I had signed a letter of intent. I suppose I would keep interviewing until school had started / I had signed a contract / something else very assuring had happened to get me going with the job I had accepted.
