Hey~can we share power points? We are getting LCD projectors in every classroom. I want to make sure that I utilize this new tech. If you have an LCD in your class, how do you use it?

Many textbooks offer a powerpoint CD as a resource. You can also do an advanced google search to search only for powerpoint files on the topics needed. You probably will be amazed at what you can find this way.

I use it all the time, and if you need any templates, there are excellent ones you can type into at http://www.kimpearson.org. She was one of the speakers at the FETC conference two years ago.

Thanks for sharing this tip about the advanced search on google. I've already tried it and have been very successful.

    Power Points

I came across this at the end of the school year. Not sure how good it is. But there are a ton of power points!

I love powerpoint jeopardy to review for science and social studies tests. Just google powerpoint jeopardy template and you can write your own review questions and insert pictures. The kids absolutely love it and it really encourages them to study and review on their own because they want their teams to "win" the game.
