Hello, I am trying to create a 90 minute lesson plan that introduces the US involvement in WWII. Does anyone have any lesson plans that they would wish to share? Any help would be appreciated.

What a great lesson to teach! I would focus on the condition of the US economy and the idea of neutrality before the invasion of Pearl Harbor. Maybe some movie clips and real footage of the invasion? I always thought it would be a great idea to bring in a WWII veteran and have them discuss a specific topic surrounding the war. Tom Brokaw's book "The Greatest Generation" shares some excellent first hand accounts of people who lived during that period both in and out of uniform.
