My husband is finishing up his master's degree and will be graduating in December. He hasn't found a job in the area around where we live, so we will likely be moving. I have talked with my principal, and he's fine with it, I just have no clue as to how or when to tell my Kinder kids. I'm in a lower income area, and know for many of them school is the only stability they have. I feel like I'm going to totally rock thier world. Any one have any advice?

    Thanks!

Will you be sending home a letter to parents first? If so, perhaps you could encourage them to speak with thieir child and then you could ease them into it...

If there's any way you could introduce them to your replacement before you leave, it might help smooth the transition. Maybe have him or her come in for a few days to observe the routines you've set down.

I don't know if they will have found a replacement before I leave, but I am sending a letter to the parents. It might help having them break the news. Thanks for the advice!
