Well after 2 interviews that led to zero jobs, even after studying the interview thread on here I am at a loss. I have applied to the administration offices for surrounding systems. What do you think of going directly to the school and hand delivering a resume and cover letter?

Walking in your information directly to a principal certainly won't hurt. Ask to speak with the principal if s/he is available.

Don't give up... only two interviews w/o an offer is NOT bad at all. You at least made the cut to be one of the initial people to interview. Many don't even make it that far. Keep a positive attitude and you'll find the job of your dreams.

Don't lose hope. There are a few districts where you are supposed to apply at the corp. office. I have applied but I went into a couple of elementary schools yesterday and they were happy to take my resume and letter of interest. At one of the schools the only one in the office was the principal and she asked me a few questions and said they did have some openings and would be interviewing next month and she would keep me in mind.

Granted the school district is 30 minutes away but it would be a job.

I dont think 30 min is bad at all. I'm willing to travel up to an hour.

My current job for the past two years is 45 mins away from where I live. Next year I'm transferring to a job less than 10 mins away from my house. Yay!
