I'm having the principal observe me for a Language Arts lesson in 2-weeks. Do you have any interesting/engaging lessons that you'd like to share with me? Thanks! :)

WE have been working on beginning, middle and end. After I read the story on the wipe board we write what happened in the beginning, middle and end. Then you could have the children go back and do a flip book on the beginning, middle and end. Make sense?

I did a lesson on Phonemic Awareness where we put a book together. Do you that the month by month reading lessons by Cunningham?

It was like a predictable chart we did ours as an ABC book, then I put them on strips and when she came in the kids cut apart their sentence and illustrated the story. They each read their sentence then we made a class book. I got it right out of her book for Februrary.
