I just found a really good admission discount for King's Diminion. Does anyone have any experience with this park? I have a 4 year old and a 7 year old. An overnight stay will probably be involved, so I want to try to make sure it will be enjoyable, considering the money.
I haven't been to KD since high school. It was fun then....but nothing sticks out to make it "great," either. I do think that kids like any amusement park, pretty much, so I think they will have a good time.
It's not bad, I usually go once a summer (it's about an hour and a half from my house.) They have a waterpark and some newer rides. They used to be owned by Paramount, but now they're owned by Cedar Fair (I worked at Cedar Point...they're a good company.) For a hotel I would do Priceline "name your own price." The hotels right next to the park are a tad overpriced for what they are. Its way better than the other park in the area (Six Flags.)
