Do you all have a separate K program? We have the 3 ages in the am and then divide up a separate group of Ks. I teach the 4 year olds but will be doing 4 days of K and cannot wait. The regular teacher is very academic oriented and is very good. But I am going to introduce them to Big Band music and teach them how to sew on a button. I think she forgets that you can have fun and enoy them also.

Although we know, of course, that 3 ages in a class are ideal and "traditional Montessori", we have 2. We have pre-k (ages 3 & 4 together), k/1, 2/3, and 4/5. It's a public school so there are state and zoning requirements that definately make this the best set up for us.
