I'd like to do something with my 5th grade students with my friend's Kindergarten students in my school.

    Any ideas?

We have writing celebration with 4th or 5th grade where my kindergarteners read their published stories to a big kid and the big kids listens.

My 3rd grade class is reading buddies with a k class. We go every Friday for about 40 minutes. Kids read books together, we do book related seasonal activities. It's a nice partnership.

We get together and create crafts throughout the year. During Young Authors, the 5th graders scribe for the Ks. We celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday in March. We will get together this week and make a Santa table top decoration and watch a movie. Last week, we helped the Ks shop for their families at the Santa Shop.
