Does anyone know of an on-line site where kindergarten children can practise finding letters on the keyboard. The server at school has a filter and does not like certain words such as 'fun' and 'upto'. I need a variety of sites that I can try, hopefully one will get past the filters.

    Thanks.

    Dance Mat Typing!

I'm not strict with the K students about hand placement, because their hands are so small, but it helps them find the keys.

Thanks for those sites. I will try them all in the computer lab on Monday.

I know this is off-topic but I don't post on the site very often, however, I am an avid reader of those who do. I love how everyone is willing to help, share their insight and experience. It makes me reflect on my teaching - thanks for being there.

An update. When I logged in via the teacher's portal I could access the sites you gave me. Come lesson time, (I have a non-contact period before computer lab so that I can set everything up) and guess what? It didn't like abcya.com or learninggamesforkids!!! Luckily the IT guy was on-site and could help me. I have to give him web addresses and he can put them on the system so I can access them - yeah.
