Has anyone else experienced working with this company's program? I am just curious to know if anyone else has had experience with this program.

Our elementary district employed his services about 10 years ago. Big Cheese anyone?

It sounds like you teach upper grades--I teach second grade so our training was probably a bit different. But yes I agree...dry and non-contextual. Separate skill level instruction, kind of random...second graders were bored to tears!

We have since moved on to ANOTHER ELD consult, someone who worked with Kevin Clark...same concept but more integrative within the curriculum...my problem now is that what we are expected to teach for ELD is completely developmentally inappropriate. Way to abstract for the average 7-8 year old. Sigh.

Sorry I cannot be more help. Just wanted to let you know that yes, I agree with you!
