Just for fun, who has the most kids here?...of YOUR OWN, not students at school.
Ha, fun question! Can't wait to see...is Michelle Duggar lurking? Winner!
Just two, I'd had a house full if I could have.
Like Hoot Owl, I have two, but would have a house full if I could. I am very happy to have the two I have, do my 3 grandchildren count?
I have three kids. I think, though, we need to ammend the quesiton to biological or adopted children. Adopted children are as much one's own as biological children. I know the intent was to not count our students, but the empasis on biological could upset adoptive parents.
I think we could all learn a lot from Mrs. Dugger at least in crowd management and staying calm no matter what. You know when she's lost her tempter, but she never looses that sweet, calm voice. I wish I could be as unflappable as she is.

I agree about adopted kids being just as much a part of the family & I commend those who open their hearts & homes to take on others. But, I was really interested to know who actually bore the most kids themselves.
My pastor was 1 of 16 & none of them were adopted! That's the most I know of in which the same mother actually gave birth to (youch!). My mom was 1 of 5, my dad was 1 of 8 (but 2 who were twins died at birth).
edited after I read the posts that preceed mine.

In that case, I choose not to answer.
Brian is "my own" just as the girls are. But thanks, ever so much, for commending us for "taking him on."
I have given birth to three beautiful babies. My mom came from a big family. Her mother gave birth to 13 kids, however one died at birth.
None, but I would like 5.
i have three
I have 4.
I'm growing one right now.
My mother was one of 12, and her mother one of 13 which is unheard of these days.
Unless you want your own TV show!
2. Blessed to have them-took lots of Clomid!!
Three. I didn't do the really gruelling work myself, though.
One... hoping one day for two.
2 though 1 is in heaven. I hope to add another one in the next year through adoption.
