I am so relieved... I just got home from my last class, and I'm done!!!! (I took 3 classes this summer... Talk about information overload!) :D

However, the crazy thing is, I was thinking about how I could start working on my specialist degree on the way home.

Congratulations!! That must be a lot of weight off your shoulders. Don't jump into another degree too quickly. You want some time to breathe in between. But then again, some people are born students and need to have that constant stream of information coming at them. Congrats again. :p

Yippee, Amanda!!! I am so happy for you. You won't know what to do with yourself with all this new found freedom. Yeah, right!!! Since I just graduated in May, I know exactly the weight that has been lifted off your shoulders. Take some time to enjoy what's left of the summer or sleep in until noon, whichever is more appealing!

Yay for being done with class! Having also graduated in MAy, I know how good that feels...

COurse, with Dad's insurance right now, I have to be a full-time student to stay covered... not looking forward to having to take some more classes right away... maybe I'll take like sign language and intro to physical therapy and stuff that won't seem like so much work... (our local community college has lots of stuff for a fairly cheap price, and there are LOTS of universities around that I can pick up the 1 class I still need for a special ed. certification...)

WOW...Congrats. Do you have any advice to someone who just completed their AA Degree and is now enrolled to start class again in August for their BA? I plan to teach 2 or 3rd grade. Any advice??

What work will you do with your Masters? Do you have any advice or does anyone about where a Newbie like me could get supplies like a Gradebook, Lesson Plan Book etc. ?

I didn't want to go to the ceremony, but my university requires that you attend in order to graduate. I am glad that I did... It was a lot like all the other graduation cermonies I have gone through... HS, college (B.S.), except this time, I was "hooded." They put this big hood around your neck and it hangs down behind... and now I can put a M.Ed. after my name. :D Oh, and I get to move across the salary schedule this year. However, my "raise" will barely cover what I just spent on these last 9 credit hours to FINISH my degree.

I haven't done this yet... let's see how it looks:

    YEAH!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I can almost taste my Master's.. getting closer. I will be working on my thesis this year. Already started, but have a great deal more to do. If all goes well, I will be celebrating by MAY, 2004- it seemed so far away when I started. i think i can. .i think i can...i think i can... Did you have to prepare and support a thesis, if so what was yours?
ENJOY YOUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS... RELAX FOR A FEW MONTHS BEFORE GOING BACK.

In my research class I had to write the first 3 chapters. I did mine over using computers in the classroom. I had the option to conduct the research and complete the paper, or to take an extra 3 credit hours. I chose to take an extra class, so my program was 39 credit hours instead of 36. Other universities in the area have 32/33 hour programs, but I really liked my classes and scheduling much better at this university.
