After working a year as a special ed. assistant, I have finally decided to apply to teach again. I am going to apply for science, English andspecial education high school and middle school positions. I am sure I have the best shot with science. I am applying at the district I now work at and will try other districts and private schools.

Science and special edu will have more positions open than others. I would honestly try for the special edu since alot of areas are hiring specifically for that. Good luck :)

    Off season

We are construction workers, building brains and looking for new jobs. Right now, it's off season. Facts and figures are slipping and oozing of kids' brains as we speak! We can't find work now, because no new construction (classrooms) are open.

As soon as the weather clears up, (late July, early August), new sites will open (families will come home and move into area), and the foremen and site managers will be looking for a couple of guys (all of us!) to help get the new project on the ball! (they will realize they need more staff, and go thru that stack of iresumes, and read emails! We will all be smart enough to send resumes out again, in July...even if we were rejected!)

So, we are looking for side jobs such as maintenance and yard work (retail jobs and mall jobs cashiers, and stock clerks) until the season picks back up. It is small change (minimum wage :() but it will do for now. We are tough (and know how to budget!!), and we can get thru this!

    :D
