Jump Start to Literacy?

    Is anyone familiar with this program? I am interviewing for a position where this early intervention is used to maximize reading ability (k-2). Thats about all the info I have and I would like to be able to discuss it should a question come up.

    doing a real quick google search, i think it is similar to a PBS literacy deal...at PBS it is called Ready to Learn...but i believe the concept is the same...that there are all different types of learners...and if you connect activities and TV shows/videos to books, all learn better....that the earlier you get books into kids hands, the better....reading is very important...outloud or alone...that kids follow the examples they see...this is the RTL site below...and one i have used called Zero to Three
