My students and I are about to embark on a 4 week novel study of Bud, Not Buddy. I have a lot of really neat ideas for activities to go along with the story. I am looking for a cost-efficient, easy way to compile all the things they write, create, draw, etc. during this novel study. I want them to be able to take home a little journal/binder full of their Bud, Not Buddy work at the end of the study but I don't want to go buy a binder for every student due to cost and storage (I see 78 students).
I have seen some cool things done with paper bags....? Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I love lapbooks (or folder books) for these types of units. Look at some ideas, and then you'll have to create your own content.

You could have them each bring in a poster board to display their work. They could keep everything in a manila envelope until you are ready to start displaying their work.

Oh my goodness I had never heard of a lapbook! Those are soooo cool! That's definitely what we're going to do. I'm super excited now!
